A container has an equal mass of H2, O2 and CH4 at 27°C. What is the ratio of their volume?​

Let the mass of each gas be given by w.

So.... No of moles of H2 are= w/2

        No of moles of O2 are= w/32

        No of moles of CH4  are= w/16

Therefore ... Volume of H2 = w/2 * 22.4L

                    Volume of O2 is= w/32 * 22.4L

                    Volume of CH4 is given as= w/16 * 22.4L

So the ratio will be = 1/2 : 1/32 : 1/16

                               = 16: 1 : 2
