Answer:

x/y number of people /number of days

6/18=12/y

6×18=12×y

y=6×18/12

y=9

so it will take 9days.

Answer:

9 Days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Efficiency of each person be 1 unit for each day. So the total work done(i.e. revision of Paranvi's house) by 6 persons in 18 days will be 6×18=108 units.

By the same theory 12 persons will need to complete the same unit/amount of work(i.e. Revision of Paranvi's house). So let the time required by the 12 people with an efficiency of 1 unit each day be t days.

Then 12×t= 108

⇒ t=108÷12

⇒t=9

Thus, 9 days will be required to 12 people doing the same revision of Paranvi's house.
