Consider a triangle ABC where ∠ B = $90^{0}$ and AC is the hypotenuse.

The slide is represented by AC and the angle made by it is represented by ∠BCA.

Now, in ΔABC,  θ= $30^{0}$

So,

sin 30 = $\frac{AB}{AC}$

$\frac{1}{2} = \frac{2}{AC}$

or, AC = 4m.

∴ Length of slide = 4m.
