A converging mirror forms a real image of height 4cm of an object of height 1cm placed 20cm away from the mirror:
1) calculate the image distance
2) What is the focal length of the mirror

h'=4cm

h=1cm

u=20cm

m=h'/h=4/1=4

m=-v/u=4

-v/20=4

v=-80cm

1/f=1/v+1/u

1/f=-1/80+1/20

=-1+4/80

=3/80

f=80/3=26.67cm
