A convex mirror has radius of curvature 20cm.Then the position of the image of an object placed at a distance of 12 cm from the mirror is A.60/11 cm B. 30/11 cm C. 11/60 cm D. 11/30cm

R = 20
we know that R = 2f
so f=R/2
= 10cm
u = -12cm
so, by using mirror formula....
1/f = 1/u + 1/v
1/10=-1/12+1/v
1/v = 1/10+1/12
1/v =11/60cm
v = 60/11cm..........(A)
here v represent position of the image from the mirror
u represent position of the object from the mirror and f represent focal length.
