Answer:

a convex mirror just acts as a very Wide Angle viewing mirror which gives you a very large and diminished picture or you can also say it as image due to its bulging out surface it just reflect the light away from the mirror and not convert it but converges it apparently so it is used as shop security mirror as well as it is kept on narrow turning to prevent collision of vehicles

If one side of a convex mirror is painted then it will behave like a concave mirror.

Explanation:

  • If one side of a convex mirror is painted then it will behave like a concave mirror.
  • One side of a lend can be made reflective by coating it with a thin reflective film of a substance.
  • And when falls on the surface coated with film then light gets incident and this side will behave as a convex mirror.
  • Similarly for light incident from the other side it will behave as a concave mirror
