mirrors work on the principle of reflection. the principle of reflection says that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence made at the surface of mirror. hence the property of reflection is not affected on placing the mirror inside liquid since the focal length of mirror does not change when it is placed inside the liquid.
