Answer:

Let the number of fishes be 'x' and prawns be 'y'

25x + 38y = Rs. 984

Given that 1 kg of fish = Rs. 12

=> 25x = 25 * 12 = Rs. 300

=> 300 + 38y = 984

=> 38y = 984 - 300

=> 38y = 684

=> y = 684 / 38

=> y = 18

Hence the cost of 1 kg of Prawn is Rs. 18
