A copper calorimeter that weighs 300g contains oil initially at 293.15 kelvins .180g of aluminum at 300C is added to the oil. what will be the final temperature if the system after equilibrium is established

m1=300g; t=293.15-273.15=20⁰C ;C=0.385J/kg⁰C

m2=180g;t=300⁰C ;C=0.9

m1c∆t=m2c∆t

300×0.385(t-20)=180×0.9(300-t)

0.7(t-20)=300-t

1.7t=314;

t= 184.7⁰C
