Answer:

Vol. of pipe=πh (R+ r) (R-r)

π(6+5.2) (6-5.2)

22x11.2x 0.8 / 7=28.16cm3

Solution :-

Given :

Outer radius of copper = 6 cm

Inner radius of copper = 5.2 cm

Height of copper pipe = 87 cm

To find :

Volume of the pipe

So,

According to the question

copper pipe is hallow cylinder

∴ Voulme of hollow cylinder

= π h ( R² - r² )

Capital 'R' is outer radius and

small 'r' is inner radius.

= π h ( R² - r² )

=\dfrac{22}{7}\times87\:(6^2-5.2^2)\\\\\\=\dfrac{22}{7}\times87\bigg([6+5.2]\:[6-5.2]\bigg)\\\\\\=\dfrac{22}{7}\times87\times11.2\times1.2\\\\\\=\dfrac{25724.16}{7}\\\\\\=3674.88cm^3
