Vol. of copper cylinder = πr 2h

= 22x14^2 x 10/7=6160cm3

cylindrical wire Vol = πr 2h

22x0.2^2 xh/7=6160

h = 6160x7/22xo.2 x 0.2=49000 cm

= 490m (length of copper wire)

The length of copper wire is 9800 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of solid cylinder = 14 cm

Height of cylinder = 10 cm

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^2h = \frac{22}{7} \times (14)^2 \times 10

1 cm = 10 mm

Diameter of cylindrical wire = 4 mm = 0.4 cm

Radius of cylindrical wire = \frac{0.4}{2}=0.2 cm

Volume of cylindrical wire = \pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times (0.2)^2 \times h

We are given that a copper solid cylinder of radius 14cm and height 10cm is melted and recast into cylindrical wire of diameter 4mm

So, Volume of solid cylinder is equal to volume of cylindrical wire.

So, \frac{22}{7} \times (14)^2 \times 10 = \frac{22}{7} \times (0.2)^2 \times h

(14)^2 \times (10)=0.2h\\\frac{(14)^2 \times (10)}{0.2}=h\\9800=h

Hence the length of copper wire is 9800 cm
