Given :- A copper wire is bent in the form of a square of side 22 cm. If it is rebent in the form a circle. Find the circumference and diameter of the circle. ?

Solution :-

→ Side of square = 22 cm.

→ Perimeter of square = 22 * 4 = 88 cm .

Now, this copper wire is rebent in the form of a circle.

we know that, when anything is rebent to form another shape , perimeter remains same .

therefore,

→ Circumference of circle formed = Perimeter of square = 88 m (Ans.)

now,

→ circumference of circle = 88 m .

→ 2 * π * radius = 88 m.

→ π * (2 * radius) = 88 m .

→ π * diameter = 88

→ (22/7) * diameter = 88

→ diameter = (88 * 7)/22

→ Diameter = 28 m . (Ans.)
