Step-by-step explanation:

Given

a 2 =121

⇒a=11

L=4a=44

Given 2πr=44⇒2× 722

×r=44∴r=7

Area =A=π×49=49π cm 2

=49× 722A=154 cm 2

Given :-

Area of the square = 121 cm²

To Find :-

Area of the circle :-

Formula Used Here :-

  • Area of Square = Side²
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × Side
  • Circumference of Circle = 2πr
  • Area of the Circle = πr²

Solution Start :-

Area of Square = Side²

121 cm² = Side²

√121 cm² = Side

11 cm = Side

Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

4 × Side = Circumference of Circle

4 × Side = 2πr

4 × 11cm = 2πr

44 cm = 2πr

 =  >  \: 44 \: cm \:  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \\  \\  =  > 44  \: cm \:  =  \frac{44}{7}  \times r \\  \\  =  >  \frac{44 \times 7}{44}  = r \\  \\  =  >  \frac{\cancel {44} \times 7}{\cancel {44}}  = r \\  \\  =  > 7cm \:  = radius

Area of Circle = πr²

 =  >  \: area \: of \: circle \:  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {7}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  \: area \: of \: circle =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \\  \\  =  > area \: of \: circle =  \frac{22}{\cancel {7}}  \times \cancel {7} \times 7 \\  \\  =  > area \: of \: circle \:  =  22 \times 7 \\  \\  =  > area \: of \: circle \:  = 154 \:  {cm}^{2}

Therefore, area of the circle is 154 cm²
