A copper wire when bent in the form of square encloses an area of 121 cm². If the same wire is bent into a circle, then find the area of the circle

Length of the copper wire is equal to the perimeter of a square

Now, we have area of square= side ²

=121

a=11.

perimeter of sq=4a= 4×11 =44

and length of the copper wire is also equal to the circumference of the circle =2πr

44=2πr

r=44×7/2×22

r=7

Now the area of the circle = πr²

22/7×7×7

154cm²
