a cork floats while a nail sinks .why?

because the density of cork is then nail so it floats.

It is because of density

Density of cork is less that is its mass by volumebration is less than that of nail .

Molecules of nail are packed tightly so they have more mass less volume and their density is greater this is the reason that nail sinks and cork floats
