A cork piece floats on water surface
while an iron nail sinks in it.
Explain the reason.

iron has density greater than water and so it sinks..while cork has density lower than water and so it floats

hloo..

  • cork pieces float because density of crok is less than the density of water so it floats...
  • while nail sinks because it is quite opposite to first one i.e density of iron nail is more compared to water..

so we conclude that cork has less weight Nd iron is more weight than water...
