Given,

The dimensions of the box are 30cm,24cm and 8cm.

Length = 30cm

Breadth = 24cm

Height = 8cm

Note: From the given data we can say that the box is in cuboid shape as it has 3 dimensions.

To find out,

The surface area of the box (cuboid).

Solution:

surface \: area \: of \: cuboid \: (tsa) =2(lb + bh + hl)  \\  \\  = 2(30 \times 24 + 24 \times 8  + 8 \times 30) \\  \\  = 2(720 + 192 + 240) \\  \\  = 2(1152) \\  \\  = 2304 \:  {cm}^{2}

Therefore the surface area of the box is 2304cm^2.

●The surface area of box

\bf\underline{\underline{According\:To\: Question:-}}

  • The box is in the form of cuboid now we have to find the surface area of cuboid

\boxed{\sf{\star{Surface\:Area\:of\:cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl}}}

\sf\implies Surface Area=2(30\times 24+24\times 8+8\times 30\\ \\ \sf\implies Surface\:area=2(720+192+240\\ \\  \sf\implies Surface\:Area=2\times 1152\\ \\ \sf\implies Surface\:Area= 2304cm{}^{2}

  • The surface area of cuboid is 2304

\boxed{\huge{\star}{\sf{\red{Surface\:area\:of\:box=2304cm{}^{2}}}}}
