u = 20 m/s

v = 0 m/s

m = 100g = 0.1kg

t = 0.01s

As we know about it that

v = u + at

0 = 20 + a*0.01

a= -2000 m/s²

So,F = ma

F = (0.1*(-2000)) = -200N

Force applied by the hand=-200 N
Acceleration of ball=
-2000 m/s²
