Given

Number of innings completed by a cricketer=10

Average runs scored by him in 10 innings =21.5

Average runs score in next innings =24

To find

Runs score by him in 11 innings

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Average Runs scored by a cricketer in 10 innings=21.5

Average=Total runs ÷ No.of innings

Total runs scored = No.of innings × average

Total runs scored = 10×21.5 = 215

Let us assume that the cricketer score 'x' in next innings say 11 innings

Then ,our Equation becomes

=>215+x/11 = 24

=>215+x= 24×11

=>215+x=264

=>x=264-215

=>x=49

Hence,the cricketer scored 49 runs in his 11th innings.
