A cricketer scores (x-1) runs in each match and scores a total of (x3-1) runs. How many matches did he play?

let the average score till his 11 innings = x

According to the question

11x+6312=x+2

11x + 63 = 12x + 24

x = 39

12th innings average = 39 + 2 = 41
