the energy used by the cricketer is converted to work done on the ball

thus, work done = 50 J

GIVEN :

force applied = 2 N

work done = force × distance travelled

THEREFORE:

distance = work / force = 50 J/ 2 N

25 m

the ball will travel 25 m
