ii) The type of cross carried out is a monohybrid cross.
Monohybrid cross is the cross between two plants with one pair of contrasting characters.
The pair of contrasting character in the given question is the height of the plant. One parent plant is tall in height (T) and another parent plant is short in height (t).
When these plants are crossed the f1 generation produced will have the phenotype of all tall plants. But the genotype of the plants will remain as that of a hybrid. Where the tall and dominant gene will represent itself, dominating the recessive gene.
