HEY MATE!!
Total number of cubes formed is 27.
To find:
Number of cubes which can be formed from a cube of side 6 cm.
Solution:
Side of the cube before cutting it into pieces = 6 cm
Volume =6^{3} = 216
Side of the each small cube formed from the 6 cm cube = 2 cm
Volume =2^{3}=8
Let us assume that the number of cubes is N.
As there is no wastage,
Volume of bigger volume is equal to volume of smaller cubes.
216=N\times 8
N= \frac{216}{8}=27\\
Therefore, Number of cubes formed from the bigger cube is 27.

Answer:
Volume of big cube=s₁³
=6³=216cm³
Volume of small cube=s₂³
=2³=8cm³
Number of cubes formed= volume of big cube/volume of small cube.
=216/8
=27 cubes.
HOPE THIS HELPS :D
