A cube of edge 9cm is immersed completely in rectangular vessel containing water. If the dimensions of base are 15 cm ×12m , find the rise in water level in vessel.

we know that vol. of the water displaced=vol. of the object immersed
here,  vol. of the obj.=9³=729
given,the base of the vessel=15cm*12m
so,the vol. of the displaced water=15*1200*h(converting m into cm)
729=18000h so, h=0.0405cm
