The force is balanced in vertical direction that is Mg=(pVg)1+(pVg)2.So the value of M= (0.4 g/ml)600cm^3 + (0.6 g/ml)(400 cm^3) since 1 ml = i cm^3
And so the answer is 480gm which is the mass
