Diameter of cylinder pillar = 150 cm = 150÷100 = 1.5 m
Therefore, Radius of cylinder pillar = 1.5÷2 = 0.75 m
Height of cylinder pillar = 3.5 m
Therefore, Curved surface area of cylinder = 2×22÷7×0.75×3.5 m^2
2×22÷7×75÷100×35÷10 m^2
22÷7×3÷4 m^2
33÷14 m^2
Therefore, Total cost of painting the curved surface area of cylinder pillar at the rate of Rs. 12.50 per m^2 = Rs.(33÷14×12.50)
=33÷14×125÷10
= Rs.{2.36 (approx) × 125÷10}
= Rs.{295÷10} (approx)
= Rs. 29.5(approx)
Therefore, Radius of cylinder pillar = 1.5÷2 = 0.75 m
Height of cylinder pillar = 3.5 m
Therefore, Curved surface area of cylinder = 2×22÷7×0.75×3.5 m^2
2×22÷7×75÷100×35÷10 m^2
22÷7×3÷4 m^2
