Given :   x + y = 5 and x- y = 5

To find :  the solution of the equations from the graph

Solution:

x x + y = 5 x - y = 5

-4 9 -9

-3 8 -8

-2 7 -7

-1 6 -6

0 5 -5

1 4 -4

2 3 -3

3 2 -2

4 1 -1

5 0 0

6 -1 1

7 -2 2

x = 5  , y  = 0

x + y = 5

x - y = 5

adding both

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5

=> y = 0
