I don't think that any one religion should be our national religion. Religion does not mean hindu or muslim or any other. It means a group or a mojority of peoples , we should bring friendship with each other and help each other. But some peoples takes this as a war between two groups. India is a secular state. A secular state is one in which the state doesnot officialy promote any one religion as the state religion. To be friends to each other and help each other during others' problems, this is called religion. We should not take this negatively. Be positive and be good.

Hinduism should be made as our national religion 

If Hindus want to remain in existence it should be made as a national religion or else in the nearby future, all the Hindus will be completely wiped off from this nation.

For example if a hindu was killed by any other religion there will be no media coverage and not even a single person will speak for that innocent soul but if the victim was from other religion and the murderer was a hindu there would be nationwide protests and vast media coverage and lot many debates on that topic.

Many Hindus are getting killed just because they love their religion and if it is made as a national religion people will have some fear to kill them and by this, there can be peace between the communities. Here in my own city, many Hindus got killed but none were sent to jail just because the victim was a Hindu and if we get the status of national religion we can stop this killing and butchery .

One more case, a girl called asifa got raped and the matter was like made so huge that the news went all over the world and people started holding cards and all and my question is how many of them did when the victim was a Hindu ??? cuz it was Hindu and its life has no value and asifa's case made govt to implement death penalty to the rapists and if she was hindu this would not have happened.

Hindus can get all the facilities that a minority community gets because of this reservation system many deserved won't get job, seats but a minority who is not deserved gets a job.

All religions shud get equal preference but it's not happening people won't let it happen also because they just don't want Hindus to be in a good post.

There are many forceful conversions from the other side and if we ask the reason they say that its written in their holy texts but we Hindus never convert other people forcefully.

In northeastern states, the question people are demanding that their religion should be declared as a state religion but it will be wrong if Hindus demand the same.

For the survival of Hindus, this is necessary.  

Many people speak Hindi and it is made as a national or official language and there are many people who speak other languages too and hence even this can be made in the same way.

It is just because of the Sangh etc we Hindus are alive else this would be a hell for Hindus and politicians are busy with appeasement politics and they forget us Hindus but if it is made as the national religion, we would at least get some importance in this country.  

India is known for its rich culture and many festivals and art etc and all these were of Hindu origin else India would not have these many types of culture the contribution of culture to this nation is only by Hindus.

But still, we don't demand that our religion should be declared as the national religion because its already a national religion.
