Area of face of the cube = (10cm)2 = 100 cm2= 0.01 m2

Force exerted by the liquid = Pressure Area of the surface

= 15 Pascal x 0.01 m2 = 0.15 N

Thus, the force exerted on the face of cube = 0.15 N

Given that,

Length = 5 cm

Pressure = 12 pascals

We need to calculate the force exerted by the liquid on this face

Using formula of pressure

P=\dfrac{F}{A}

F=PA

Where, P = pressure

A = area of cube

Put the value into the formula

F=12\times(0.05)^2

F=0.03\ N

Hence, The force exerted by the liquid on this face is 0.03 N
