\boxed{\boxed{\underline{\huge{\bold{\green{\mathfrak{Answer}}}}}}}

The volume of the large cube of side 8cm

 = (a) {}^{3}  = (8cm) {}^{3}  = 512cm {}^{3}

The volume of the smallest cube of side

2cm

 = (a) {}^{3}  = (2cm) {}^{ 3}  = 8cm {}^{3}

The number of cubes of side 2cm which can be cut from the large cube of side 8cm

no. of cubes=vol of large cube/vol of small cube

 =  \frac{512cm {}^{3} }{8cm {}^{3} }

Number of cubes

\boxed{\boxed{\underline{\huge{\bold{\green{\mathfrak{64cubes}}}}}}}
