A cubical block of copper is immersed completely in water. Each edge of the block is 1 cm in length. Find the buoyant force acting on the cube. The density of water=1000kg/m^3​

Answer:

density of water= 1000kg/m^3

length of edge of the block= 1 cm

volume of the cube= (1cm)^3

= 1 cm^3

= 1/1000000 m^3

we know that density= mass/ volume

1000=mass

1

1000000

=1000×1/1000000=mass

1/1000kg= mass

now weight= mass× g (g= 9.8m/s^2)

weight= 1 ×9.8 N

1000

W = 0.0098 N

OR

W = 9.8×10^-3 N
