pressure is the ratio of force and area.

i.e., Pressure = applied force/area

given, mass of cubical block, m = 10kg

so, weight of cubical block, F = mg = 10 × 10 = 100N

pressure is exerted by cube on the surface, P = 100 Pa

now, P = force applied/area

or, 100 = 100/area

or, area = 1m²

but area of each surface of cubical block = (side length)²

so, (side length)² = 1 m²

or, side length = 1 m

hence,volume of cubical block = (side length)³ = (1m)³ = 1m³
