Answer:  Cost of painting is rupees 33.93

Step-by-step explanation:  The largest diameter that the hemisphere can have is 10 cm.

    surface area of the cube(except the upper part) is : 5 x 10 x 10

                                                 = 500

   surface area of the hemisphere: 2 x 22/7 x 5 x 5

                                                        = 1100/7

Part that is left beside the hemisphere on the cube(on top)

                                               = 10 x 10 - 22/7 x 5 x 5

                                               = 100- 550/7

                                              = 150/7

Total surface area of the solid is : 500+1100/7+150/7

                                                    = 500+1250/7

                                                    = 4750/7

   Rate of painting is : 4750/7 x 5/100

                                   = 33.93
