The pressure exerted by the block on the table is 50 K.Pa

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass , m = 2 kg

Side of the cube, a = 2 cm = 0. 02 m

Area = a² = 0. 02 × 0. 02 = 0.0004 m

Solution:

Pressure =  Force / Area

= mg / area

= 2 × 10 ÷ 0.0004

= 50000 Pa = 50 K.Pa

Thus the pressure exerted by the block on the table is 50 K.Pa
