Given A cubical block with sides 10 cm having a mass of 600g floats in fresh water. How much of the block's volume is submerged in the water
We know that density = mass / volume
mass = 600 g = 0.6 kg, density of water = 1000 kg / cubic m
= 6 x 10 ⁻4
Volume of cube = 1000 cm³
V = 1000 - 600 = 400 cm³
