Hola
Answer -
Lateral surface area of cube is Area of the four sides excluding the top and base
Formula = 4a²
where a = side
Side = 10cm
Therefore,
LSA of Cubical box = 4×10²
= 4 × 100
= 400cm²
Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h( l + b)
l = 12.5 cm,b = 10cm, h = 8 cm
Therefore,
2(8)[12.5 + 10]
16(22.5)
=> 172.5cm²
Therefore,
Area of cubical box is greater than cuboidal box by - 400 - 172.5
=> 227.5cm²
Hope it helps!

your calc is wrong. 16×22.5= 360
