A cubical ice cream brick of edge 22 cm is to be distributed among some children by filling ice cream cones of radius 2 cm and height 7 cm upto its brim. How many children will get the ice cream cones?

Let no. of children be x

So, Volume of ice cream brick = Volume of cones*x ( no. of children)
or, 22*22*22 = 1/3*22/7*2*2*7*x
or, x = 363

Answer: - 363 children will get the ice creams

Number of children’s is 367 to whom the ice cream are shared.

Solution:

To find the number of how many children will get ice cream cone first we take out the volume of ice cream brick, .i.e. equal to 22^{3}=10648\ \mathrm{cm}^{3}

Now find the volume of the ice cream cone that will be equal to

\frac{1}{3} \pi r^{2} h=\frac{1}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times(2)^{2} \times 7=29.32 \approx 29\ \mathrm{cm}^{3}

To find the number of  children’s we divide the volume of ice cream cube by ice cream cone,

\frac{10648}{29}=367 cones.
