Answer:

Volume of cuboid = l*b*h

length of given cuboid = 6cm

breadth of given cuboid = 3cm

height of given cuboid = 3cm

Volume of given cuboid = 6 * 3 * 3

Volume of given cuboid = 54 cm^3

According to the question, the cuboid is divided into 2 cubes

Volume of cube = a^3

therefore,

Volume of orginal cuboid = Volume of 1st cube + Volume of 2nd cube

Volume of given cuboid = 2( Volume of 1st cube ) ( as the dimensions of the                                                                                                          2 cubes are same there their volume will also be same )

54 = 2*a^3

27 = a^3 ( cross multiplication )

a = 3 ( as, 27 = 3*3*3 )

therefore the vloume fo each cube is a^3 = 3^3 = 27 cm^3
