Answer :

  • Height of cuboid is 6cm

Given :

  • Volume of cuboid is 1200cm³
  • Length of cuboid = 20cm
  • Breadth (width) of cuboid = 10cm

To find :

  • Height of cuboid

Solution :

  • Let the height be h

As we know that,

  • Volume of cuboid = lbh

Where, l is length 20cm , b is breadth 10cm and h is height

➙ Volume of cuboid = lbh

➙ 1200 = 20 × 10 × h

➙ 1200 = 200h

➙ h = 1200/200

➙ h = 6cm

Hence , Height of cuboid is 6cm

More Explanation :

  • Cuboid has 6 faces
  • Cuboid has 12 edges
  • Cuboid has 8 vertices
  • Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
  • Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h(l + b)
  • Volume of cuboid = lbh
  • where , l is length, b is breadth and h is height
