Given

  • A cuboid has dimension

  • 4cm 6cm and 12cm

To find

  • Volume

Diagram

\setlength{\unitlength}{5mm}\begin{picture}(5,5)\multiput(0,0)(0,6){2}{\multiput(0,0)(2,1){2}{\line(1,0){12}}\multiput(0,0)(12,0){2}{\line(2,1){2}}}\multiput(0,0)(12,0){2}{\multiput(0,0)(2,1){2}{\line(0,1){6}}}\end{picture}

Solution

Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × height

=>V = 4 × 6 × 12

=>v = 24×12

=>v=288 cm³

  • The main thing that we have 2 observe is the unit of volume is m³ and area have m²

Additional Information

Tsa of cuboid = 2{lb+bh+lh}

  • lb=24
  • bh=72
  • lh=48

Total surafce area is

2{lb+bh+lh}

=2{24+72+48}

=2{144}

=288cm²
