a cuboid measure 10 cm by 6 CM by 5 cm how many such cuboids can be placed in a cardboard box of dimension 50 cm by 25 CM by 24 cm also find the ratio of the volume of the bigger provide to the volume of the smaller cuboid

Hi ,

dimensions of the smaller cubiod

l × b × h = 10 cm × 6 cm × 5 cm ---( 1 )

dimensions of the cardboard box

L × B × H = 50 cm × 25cm× 24cm ----( 2 )

Let the number of cubiods placed in the

box = n

n = ( LBH ) /( lbh )

n = ( 50 × 25 × 24 ) / ( 10 × 6 × 5 )

n = 100

required ratio = ( LBH ) / lbh

= 100 : 1
