A current flows in conductor from west to east.What is the direction of magnetic field at a point below the conductor in 12th class

The direction of magnetic field around a current carrying conduction is determined by using Ampere’s Thumb rule.

If you are facing towards current flowing direction ,the direction of magnetic field is in clockwise direction. Now in the question current flowing from west to east , so if you stand facing east direction ,at point below the conductor the magnetic field is towards north direction (clockwise).
