Answer:

The cyclist covers 800 m in 4.33 minutes.

So in 1 hour he covers 800*60/(4.33*1000) = 11.08 km.

So his speed is 11.08 kmph.

Given,

The cyclist covers a total of 800 meters in 4 minutes 20 seconds.

To Find,

The speed of the cyclist in km/hour.

Solution,

We know that 800 meters = \frac{800}{1000}=\frac{4}{5} km.

And 4 minutes 20 seconds = 4\frac{20}{60}=\frac{13}{3} min.

So the cyclist covers a total in \frac{13}{3} min total area of \frac{4}{5} km.

So in 1min, he covers a total of \frac{\frac{4}{5} }{\frac{13}{3} } Km.

So in 60 min, he covers a total of  \frac{\frac{4}{5} }{\frac{13}{3} }×60 =\frac{144}{13}

Hence, The speed of the cyclist is \frac{144}{13}km/hour.
