12.8km/hr

av speed=total dist. trav./total time taken

let dist. uphill=downhill=x
total dist.=2x
total time=x/8+x/32=5x/32
therefore av speed=2x/(5x/32)
12.8km/hr

To find average speed her we need to use the formula: 2V1V2/V1+V2.
Where V1=downhill speed and V2=uphil speed.
so, Average speed = 2x8x32/8+32
=2x8x32/40 = 12.8 Kmph
