A cylindrical tank has a capacity of 8000 cubic centimeter. If it's depth is 20cm, find the diameter.

 \Huge{\boxed{\purple{\mathcal{ANSWER}}}}

 \bold{Given\:that,}

Volume =  8000cm^3

Depth = 20cm

 \bold{To\:find,}

Diameter = ?

Before finding the diameter, we've to find the radius of the cylindrical tank.

We know that,

Volume of a cylinder =  πr^2h

Volume of the cylindrical tank =  3.14 \times r^2 \times h

 8000 cm^3 = 3.14 \times r^2 \times 20

 8000cm^3 = 62.8 \times r^2

 \frac{8000cm^3}{62.8cm^2} = r^2

 127.39cm\:(approx) = r^2

 \sqrt{127.39} = r

 11.29\:(approx) = r

 \large{\bold{Radius\:=\:11.29cm}}

But the diameter = 2r (or) r + r

Therefore, diameter = 2(11.29cm)

Diameter = 22.58cm (approximately)
