A cylinder and a cone have same radii and heights. If volume of of cylinder is 837 sq.cms, what will be the volume of cone?

Volume\ of\ cylinder= \pi r^2h\\Volume\ of\ cone= \frac{1}{3}  \pi r^2h\\

You can see that the volume of a cone is  \frac{1}{3} of the volume of a cylinder having same height and radius. 

volume\ of\ cone= \frac{1}{3}*volume\ of\ cylinder= \frac{1}{3}*837=\boxed {279\ cm^3}
