You can see that the volume of a cone is $\frac{1}{3}$ of the volume of a cylinder having same height and radius. 

$volume\ of\ cone= \frac{1}{3}*volume\ of\ cylinder= \frac{1}{3}*837=\boxed {279\ cm^3}$
