Radius of cylinder = Radius of cone

rcy. = rco

Height of cylinder = Height of cone

hcy. = hco

Volume of cylinder = Volume of cone

pie (rcy)2 hcy = 1/3 pie (rco)2 hco

pie = 1/3 pie ( Because both radius and heights of solids are cancelled as they are equal.)

3 pie = pie (By cross multiply)

By cancelling pie we get,

3 = 1

SO PROVED.
