A cylinder drum of the radius 7cm and height 14cm find C.S.A, T.S.A and volume of the drum​

Given :-

  • Radius of cylindrical drum is 7 cm  
  • Height of cylindrical drum is 14 cm

To Find :-

  • Curved surface area of cylindrical drum  
  • Total surface area of cylindrical drum
  • Volume of cylindrical drum

Solution :-

~Here, we’re given the radius and height of a cylindrical drum and we need to find Curved Surface Area ( CSA ) , Total Surface area ( TSA ) and Volume of that cylindrical drum. We can easily find them by putting the values in their formulas.

As we know that ,

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

TSA of cylinder = 2πr( r + h )

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Where,

  • h is height
  • r is radius
  • π is 22/7

Finding the CSA :-

⟶ 2 × 22/7 × 7 cm × 14 cm

⟶ 2 × 22 × 1 cm × 14 cm

⟶ 44 × 1 cm × 14 cm

⟶ 616 cm²  

Finding the TSA :-

⟶ 2 × 22/7 × 7 cm ×  ( 7 cm + 14 cm )

⟶ 2 × 22 × 1 cm × 21 cm

⟶ 44 × 1 cm × 21 cm

⟶ 924 cm²  

Finding the volume :-

⟶ 22/7 × 7 cm × 7 cm × 14 cm

⟶ 22 × 1 cm × 7 cm × 14 cm

⟶ 2156 cm³
