when a rectangular sheet is formed into a cylinder.
the length becomes the height of the cylinder and the breadth becomes the circumference of the circle of the cylinder.
so, circumference=2πr
: 2.8cm=2×22/7×r
28/10=2×22/7×r
r= 28×7/10×2×7
r=1.4 cm

Answer:

1.4 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

WHEN RECTANGULAR SHEET IS ROLLED THE LENGTH BECOMES CIRCUMFERENCE OF BASE  AND BREADTH BECOMES HEIGHT SO

8.8=2 PI r

8.8 *7/44 = r

1.4 cm = r
