vol of cylinder= 1/4 × π(D²-d²)h
put the value n get answer.

vol of metal used = vol of cylinder

External Diameter = 14
External Radius = 14/2 =7
Thickness = 2
so inner radius = 7-2 =5
volume of a cylinder = 22/7 (R^2-r^2 )h
=22/7 ( 7^2-5^2) × 14
=22×2(49-25)
=44(24)
=1056cm^2
